Caramalised Cinnamon Spiced Apple Pancakes

Description

A special pancake filling indeed, with excellent Fall flavours.

Apple and Cinnamon

Ingredients

5  
Cooking Apples (Peeled, Cored and Cubed)
5  
Desert Apples (Peeled, Cored and Cubed)
1  
Lemon (Rind andJuice)
8 tablespoons
Golden Caster Sugar
2 teaspoons
Cinnamon
2 teaspoons
Ginger (Ground)
75 grams
Butter

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan
  2. Add the apples to the pan with the sugar
  3. Cook for 10 minutes until they become tender
  4. Add the spices, stir and continue to cook until caramelised
  5. Top the pancake with the mixture

Tip: Dollop on a few teaspoons of crème fraîche for an extra indulgent variation!
