Ultimate Mushrooms on Toast


After a long day at work, hunger on your mind, there's nothing quite like this to perk you up!


100 grams
Button Mushrooms (Sliced)
1⁄2 tablespoon
2 pinches
Parsley (Fresh Chopped)
Lemon Juice (A good firm squeeze)
1⁄2 clove
Garlic (Finely Chopped)
1 tablespoon
Onion (Finely Chopped)
1 slice
Toast (Thick and Crisp)


  1. Put a knob of butter and drizzle of oil in a frying pan.  Heat until the butter foams.
  2. Throw in the chopped mushrooms and onion.
  3. Let go golden brown.  While it does that, toast the bread and then spread with butter.
  4. Add garlic and parsley.  Count to 30.
  5. Squeeze in the lemon.
  6. Stir.
  7. Place on the toast.
  8. Eat and smile.
